There are currently 6 main prisons, 6 bonus prisons, and 5 DLC prisons included in the game. They all differentiate in quality of security, and all the main prisons get progressively more difficult to escape from.

Center Perks[edit | edit source]

Center Perks is currently the easiest prison in the game. It includes a fully integrated ventilation system, 5 job options, (janitor, laundry, kitchen, mailman, metal shop), and a lenient schedule with lots of free time. That is why you started there in the first place.
Stalag Flucht[edit | edit source]

Stalag Flucht is an easy prison in the game. It houses two inmates per cell, has 5 job options, (gardening, tailor, library, woodshop, unloading), and enough free time to make yourself feel half comfortable.

Shankton State Pen is a moderate prison in the game. It houses one inmate per cell, has 5 job options, (laundry, kitchen, woodshop, metalshop), and medium amounts of free time. John wick hex epic.

Jungle Compound is a moderate prison in the game. It houses two inmates per cell, has 5 job options, (tailor, laundry, mailman), and medium amounts of free time. Also, to escape you require some Fake ID Papers.

San Pancho is a hard prison in the game. It houses 4 inmates per cell, has 5 job options, (gardening, tailor, library, kitchen, unloading), and few amounts of free time.
HMP-Irongate[edit | edit source]
' | Listen here maggot. You know why you're here so no point crying about it. Generally feared as the highest security prison ever, HMP Irongate is where you'll live out the rest of your meaningless existence. Escape you say? Don't make me laugh! The handful of idiots who tried met a watery demise trying to swim off the island. Still, chin up eh? | „ |
HMP-Irongate is currently the hardest prison in the game. It houses 1 inmate per cell with 1 security camera in each cell, has 5 job options, (janitor, mailman, woodshop, unloading, metalshop), and minimal amounts of free time, it is also the only main prison which is on an island. Plus, the guards have Stun Rods, meaning that they will instantly kill you. Forget getting a guard outfit from them!
Bonus Prisons[edit | edit source]
Fort Bamford[edit | edit source]
Fort Bamford is one of the first bonus prisons in the game. It was firstly designed as a prize for escaping all of the prisons, but as plans changed it ended up being a DLC prison.
Camp Epsilon[edit | edit source]
Camp Epsilon is the second prison of the bonus prisons in the game. It features a fenced camp on a Sandy Plain, similar to a desert or savanna.
Paris Central Pen[edit | edit source]
Paris Central Pen is the third bonus prison added to the game.
London Tower[edit | edit source]

Escapists 2 - Glorious Regime Prison Break
Fhurst Peak Correctional Facility is the first prison of the DLC prisons in the game, and was the first prison, being created in the early access phase and later removed and remade as DLC. It is considered one of the harder prisons. It was given out for free to people who owned an early-access copy of the game as thanks from Team 17 for testing the game.

Area 17
Perimeter Breakout
Preparation:
- Raise your intellect to 60.
- Get the following items: 'Iron Bar, Plastic Red Key, Flimsy Cutters, Bed Dummy, Guard Outfit, Adrenaline shot.
- Iron Bar can be bought from inmates, bed dummy, plastic red key and flimsy cutters must be crafted. Guard outfit and Adrenaline shot can be found in knocked out guards.
- Place your bed dummy in bed.
The Escape:
- Take the items listen above and head south to the location shown. Wait there until it's 00:00.
- At the right time, drop your contraband items and shut off the generator, then head upstairs.
- Alternatively you can live your contraband upstairs, guards don't roam there.
- Go upstairs, through the door and cut through the fence here:
- Run before the lights come back on and start chipping the wall with your iron bar. If you get tired (which you most likely will) drink your adrenaline shot and finish it off. Escape.
I'm Only Human (Singleplayer Only)
Preparation:
- Reach 60 Intellect
- Find 2 talcum powder, 2 tubes of toothpaste, 2 lighters, 2 combs or 2 toothbrushes, Feather, Jar of Ink, Guard Outfit, and a Blank Security Pass (Only on Guards).
- Craft 2 wad of puttys and 2 molten plastic.
- Craft the Security Pass as shown below.
- Craft Cyan and Red plastic keys.
The Escape:
- Head to the bottom left red doors on the first floor in the cell building as shown.
- Equip your Guard Outfit and exit the doors.
- Follow the yellow line on the image to the maintenance desk.
- Search through the maintenance desk and requip the civilian outfit, then follow the yellow line in the picture as shown:
- Press 'E' on the double doors inside when you have the option to escape, make sure to have your Security Pass out.
- Congrats you escaped!
Alien Technology(Multiplayer Only)
Preparation:
- Get 50 intellect.
- Find or craft the following items: 1 circuit board, 1 energy module (2 batteries + 1 wire), 1 radio receiver (found on guards), lightweight cutters or better, red keycard.
- Take the red keycard and head west, above the blacksmith job, through those stairs to the fake moon landing set. Open the shuttle and take the empty cannister.
- Go south east through the stairs into the hangar with the UFO.
- Have your friend turn off the generator located south west of the map and cut through the fence. You can leave it open, guards never go there unless they follow you.
The Escape:
- Grab your circuit board, energy module, radio receiver and the empty cannister.
- Head to the UFO through the hole you dug in the fence and escape using the above mentioned items.
